Description
ROLLING STONES ROLLING STONES
Label : Decca Catalogue No : LK 4605 Issue : UK Boxed Mono Press
This is a UK press of the Rolling Stones debut 1964 LP. This press is complete with the scarce boxed Mono label, most later presses were sold in Stereo and the MacNeill press laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a stunning bright gloss, every track is clear with no whitening or significant marks at all. There are just a few very light marks on both sides. None of the marks are heavy and none have a significant affect on play. The red boxed Decca label is still a deep red, the silver text is very sharp and unworn and there is NO spindle wear. The record is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve.
On playing the sound is Excellent, exceptionally rich and vibrant - superb clarity and separation throughout.
The MacNeill press laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. This sleeve really is superb, there are just a couple of the tiniest details, but it is in fantastic condition. The black is solid and the laminate has a sensational shine. There is the very slightest ring and corner wear. The back cover is still very bright and clean. The spine is firm with clear text and the whole cover still feels solid.
