PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records, so I cannot guarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Extremely Rare 1969 Mono Press with Unboxed Decca Logo and NO Ridge
On offer here is a very rare 1969 mono press copy of the Rolling Stones self titled debut LP on Decca.
This particular copy still has the original unboxed Decca logo but the famous Decca ridge is not present, meaning that this copy was manufactured in 1969 just before Decca introduced their boxed logo design. By 1969 fans of the Rolling Stones were buying Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed, so sales of their original debut LP from 5 years ago were minimal.
Today it is so difficult to find their original debut LP with this variation!

Title The Rolling Stones Year of Release 1969 Catalogue Number LK 4605 Label UK Decca with Unboxed Logo and No Ridge Tax Code on Disc JT in the deadwax at 12 o'clock Sleeve Manufacturer - Side 1 Matrix Number XARL 6271-2A Side 2 Matrix Number XARL 6272-3A Side 1 Stampers 1 / HC Side 2 Stampers 1 / AH Company Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in VG condition. The cover is holding okay with no splits or tears, but does have a little damage and light wear and tear. The front is clean with some light laminate rubbing and small creasing. There's a little damage at the top left where it looks like a small sticker has been removed, and there's a small tear at the bottom right. Top and bottom seams and the spine are not torn or split. The back has a little, light staining and discolouration but looks decent with some light disc impression. Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG+/EX- condition. The disc has a really nice, clean shine to it and just some light, minimal scuffing. Very nice, clean example! Label Condition The labels are in EX condition. The labels are nice and clean with bright, silver text and some light spindlewear.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
Records are posted out tracked and insured (where applicable) to comply with eBay and PayPal seller protection policy.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
