Description

I bought this album sometime in 1980 it would not be the original pressing, I have listed the release year as 1967 because that is the year that it was first issued but have put 1980 in brackets to indicate that I bought it new at that time. Brash's were clearing warehouse stock and had large quantities of various 60's artists for sale. I taped the album when I bought it and rarely played it, over the years it has probably only been played about half a dozen times, most recently just before I listed it. The vinyl on both sides is clean and shiny, and both labels are clean. There is some low level surface noise on the lead in tracks and between the tracks, masked while the music is playing.(VG+) The cover is still rigid with no tears or creasing, there is some ring wear evident at the top and bottom of he front cover when held at an angle to the light and some faint yellowing around the edges of the back cover from years of shelf storage(VG). The spine is still intact with no tears or creases. The music on this album shows some different sounds emerging from the Stones', some tunes having a more pop feel, giving a nod to psychedelic and Beatles influences, but it still has the Stones' feel all the way through, and the stand out tracks "Please Go Home" with its throbbing Bo Diddley style riffing, and the full on rocker "Miss Amanda Jones" are both pure Rolling Stones.
