Very Rare Original 1966 UK Decca Records Mono Unboxed 1st Press 'Aftermath' by The Rolling Stones!!! Mega Rare UK 1st Press Complete with Unboxed Decca Labels & 1st Press 'Pleated Spine' Robert Stace Mono Sleeve and Original Poly-Lined Inner Sleeve!! In Absolutely SENSATIONAL Nr Mint Vinyl Condition!!! You Will Not See Another Cleaner Crisper Mono UK 1st Pressing!!! A Beautiful Record and Very Highly Recommended!!!
Here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings from all around the UK. My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, all will be finding new homes over the coming months. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist in the world of vintage vinyl - in my opinion, as soon as the record has been taken home from the store it is no longer mint!!) I hope you enjoy my listings.
You are bidding on a Stunning ORIGINAL 1966 UK Mono 1st Press of the classic 'Aftermath' by The Rolling Stones' on 1st Press unboxed Mono Decca Labels!!!
On first glance, the look of its Near Mint blemish free playing surfaces tells you that this is something special indeed. The contrast of the loud raw mono mix coupled with virtual silence between tracks is truly breathtaking and SO rare for a mono 1st press Rolling Stones Album. This is how they sounded back in the 1960's from new!!! Anyone who says crackle, pops & hissing is unavoidable on the original Unboxed Stones 1st press records is wrong, it is not, and this record is proof. It has only ever been played a handful of times before!!! It has obviously never seen one of the horrible blunt mono needles of the 1960's that used to tear through the grooves on the old 60's LP's destroying the imprint and forever leaving horrible crackle and visible dull groove-wear. Due to the commercial appeal of this record, virtually all copies you will find have have been played to death, with surface marks and lots of crackle, pops and skips. So to find a true chunky 1st pressing is hard enough, believe me. But to find one in Nr Mint condition like this is impossible. This is an absolutely essential record for any high-grade Nr Mint Rolling Stones/Beat/Psych collection and definitely worth pushing the boat out for. Due to the price this will probably fetch I will describe the record as best as I can. Whoever is lucky enough to win this auction can rest assured that they will have one of the best UK 1st Press copies of this rare record left anywhere today. Don't hesitate to email with any questions you may have. No amount of words do it justice so just take a look at the images for a while. I have tried as best as I can to capture the beauty of this record... You have to trust me on this one when I say you will be hard pushed to find a better example of this awesome record anywhere... This vinyl is in stunning immaculate Nr Mint condition!!! The Classic 1st press Unboxed centre labels are in stunning Nr Mint condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There are only the faintest lightest trace of spindle lines and that's it!!! The gramophone rims containing the all important 1st press matrix's are also MINT-!!!
What can I say about the vinyl that I have not already said? It is stone cold mint- with NO Scratches, No scuffing, NO Hairlines NO Bagrash, NO blemishes of any kind at all! It is absolutely perfect!!! This disc looks like it came off the master press this morning!!! It has all the deep shine of a newly pressed record that as only ever been played once or at the most twice before!!! Impossible for a MONO 1st press Rolling Stones album!!! The record still retains ALL of its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It it has NO jumps, NO skips, NO between track crackle and NO nasty loud pops!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1960's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!). I have no hesitation whatsoever with grading this vinyl as a strong Nr Mint!!! Its as simple as that it does not have a single blemish to it - not even a hairline!!! It is that most elusive of things, a true Mint- UK Rolling Stones Mono 1st pressing of Aftermath (suitable for the highest grade mint- collection - you will not find a better example!!)
The classic TRUE 1st press thickly front-laminated Robert Stace Mono sleeve is also in superb condition!!! It easily grades as Ex with NO Discolouration, NO Stains and NO Tears/Rips/Nicks!!! The laminate visibly glistens and actually looks almost 'wet' in appearance!!! It has none of the dulling you often see on these old laminated sleeves, it remains as fresh and crisp as the day it was laid down over the original sleeve!!! It does have a faint ring-wear impression and some minor lifting but that's about it!!! It has very little of the common edge and corner wear!!! In fact the edges are Nr Mint and the spine is nice and strong with perfectly legible spine text!!! The un-laminated back just has a faint trace of discolouration with is unavoidable with these sleeves, that said, it is still better than most others you will see. As mentioned previously I have given this sleeve an Ex grading (most would grade higher). Please rest assured that this is an honest grading and is in no way over-graded, what you are getting here is the real deal. I adhere strictly to record collector grading standards!!! The LP comes with its Original correct UK 1st press poly-lined windowed inner sleeve - which is in stunning Nr Mint condition, with no writing, no creases and no separation of the inner poly-lining. Beautiful!! Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!
Do not underestimate the rarity of this record in this condition!!! UK 1st press copies of Aftermath n Nr Mit vinyl condition are in very high demand today - there are simply none left like that look and play like this. If you have never heard it, you will not find another copy that looks prettier than this one!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. This record would be an essential addition to any high grade 1st press Rolling Stones/Beat/Psych collection. You will not see another like this for a very long time!!! Don't miss this one!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.
A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards. If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...
Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.
We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
