Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called 'Aftermath' and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE ROLLING STONES RAREST LPS EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH AN IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'PURPLE SHADOW' COVER!!!!  AND THIS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCLUDED A 'PURPLE SHADOW' BEHIND THE TITLE 'AFTERMATH' ON THE COVER FRONT (SEE PICTURES)!!!!  HOWEVER AT THE LAST MINUTE THIS DESIGN WAS DROPPED - AND THE 'PURPLE SHADOW' ON THE COVER FRONT WAS REMOVED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  HOWEVER - BEFORE THIS HAPPENED AN ABSOLUTELY TINY FEW LEAKED OUT INTO CIRCULATION!!!!  ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - EVER CAME LIKE THIS (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED!), AND THIS MAKES THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LPS OF ALL TIME!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL, AND THOUGH THE RECORD ISNT PERFECT - THE ULTRA RARE 'SHADOW' COVER IS SIMPLY SUPERB, AND THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'GROOVED' UNBOXED DECCA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'ROBERT STACE' LAMINATED 'PURPLE SHADOW' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK MONO 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4786 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and apart from some 2 small defects, would EASILY grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER, THAT ALL RECORDS FOR THIS LP ARE COMPLETELY INTERCHANGEABLE AND VERY EASY TO UPGRADE!!!!  AND WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT HERE - IS THE ULTRA RARE 'SHADOW' COVER, WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLY RARE - AND THIS LP HAS THE BEST CONDITIONED 'SHADOW' COVER I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  The record has 2 or 3 TINY scratches at the VERY end of the last track on Side 2, only 1 visible (but NON sounding!) scuffline, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the 99% of the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The only sound defect to mention is on the VERY end of the last track on Side 2 - where there are a few loud clicks/pops, and although they DONT jump or stick on my system - I cannot vouch for every other system in the world.  THOUGH PLEASE REMEMBER - as I just said - this record is EASY to upgrade, and the REAL rarity here is the ULTRA RARE 'Shadow' Cover!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - with the vast majority of the record being way WAY better than this!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Robert Stace' Laminated 'Purple Shadow' Cover is in absolutely SUPERB condition and EASILY the best I have EVER seen!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent and is EASILY the BEST conditioned 'Purple Shadow' Cover I have EVER seen (most look terrible - and that is even if you can find one AT ALL!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!  It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1966 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING OF "AFTERMATH" BY THE ROLLING STONES, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL!!!!  Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.
