AND THIS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - THE ORIGINAL DESIGN INCLUDED A 'PURPLE SHADOW' BEHIND THE TITLE 'AFTERMATH' ON THE COVER FRONT (SEE PICTURES)!!!! HOWEVER AT THE LAST MINUTE THIS DESIGN WAS DROPPED - AND THE 'PURPLE SHADOW' ON THE COVER FRONT WAS REMOVED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! HOWEVER - BEFORE THIS HAPPENED AN ABSOLUTELY TINY FEW LEAKED OUT INTO CIRCULATION!!!! ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - EVER CAME LIKE THIS (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED!), AND THIS MAKES THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LPS OF ALL TIME!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK MONO 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4786 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 'Purple Shadow' EARLIEST 1st Press 'Robert Stace' Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), STUNNING shiny laminate, a small area of laminate lifting in the bottom right hand corner, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The only INCREDIBLY minor thing to mention is an absolutely TINY split (only 4/5mm!) on the opening edge that has been so AMAZINGLY well repaired that it is completely INVISIBLE and PERFECTLY strong!!!! The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better and is one of the BEST conditioned 'Purple Shadow' Covers I have EVER seen!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
