Self titled debut LP 1964

Decca Cat number LK.4605.

Extremely rare pressing side 2 stamper XARL-6272-1A !.

2-52 version of ‘ Tell Me ‘.

This shorter version of Tell Me is a completely different mix and runs for just 2 minutes & 52 seconds and was only on the very first pressings of the Rolling Stones debut album.

It is said this was a demo version and once the error was spotted it was replaced with a longer version of 4 minutes & 6 seconds.

Side 1 stamper XARL-6271-2A

Side 2 stamper XARL-6272-1A

Only side 2s stamped with 1A have the 2-52 version of Tell Me.

Under a strong light the record has a lot of fine surface marks

so as per Record collector guidelines I am grading it as good

I have played the record twice on my Linn turntable ( see pics )

and it plays great,no skips or jumps, it does not stick at all

still delivers a great punchy sound with very minimal noise

certainly nothing to spoil your enjoyment of the record.

The sleeve is in good condition some light laminate creasing

and general grubbiness to the rear.

In conclusion a very rare pressing in overall good condition
