MFSL Rolling Stones Collection (RC-1) Box Set
Release Serial Number - #3217!
This limited edition box set was released by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) and captures The Rolling Stones at their finest. If you are looking at this add, you should know about:
- Original Master Tapes used as the Source
- Half Speed Mastering to cut the Laquer
- JVC Super Vinyl to create each LP

The Rolling Stones Collection Box Set was the one of the most successful releases that MFSL ever had and in many minds, represents the one of the best things that the firm ever did. From the MFSL Website:
"Based on the (Beatles) Collection's enormous success, Mobile Fidelity follows...in 1984 with The Rolling Stones, a collection of 11 OMR LPs that have never been played and includes an art book with original album cover graphics and exclusive interviews with the original producers and recording engineers. All three collections meet with critical acclaim and are destined to increase in value as collectors' items."
This Rolling Stones Collection Box Set HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE THE MID 80'S and have never been played. nbsp;
The Serial Number on the set is #3217. As such, these are LPs were among the first stamped by the MFSL Pressing Plant in Sebastapol. STRONG> FONT>

Each LP has never been played - no scuffs, scratches or spindle marks. Each Jacket is in "mint" condition - no seam splits. The Box Set is in "excellent" condition - no dings or scratches.
The MFSL Geo Disc is also included - it has never been used. The MFSL Booklet with the original LP Cover Art handled is in excellent condition.
Note that a sealed version of the Rolling Stones Box Set recently sold on eBay for $3050 (Item #4009388668). For a collector that is looking for a Box Set in the same condition that will be actually played and not simply placed on a shelf, this is The Opportunity.
