Description
This is a UK 45 from 1966, on Blue Beat, by Roland Alfonso; "Jericho Chain/Just A Closer Walk" (BB 356). This is the instrumental that Prince Buster chose to use as the backing track to "Dance Cleopatra" and, as far as Blue Beat singles go, this one is amongst the rarest of the rare! Condition is : A SIDE: EX-; some light marks, but plays perfect. There is a label tear on the left hand side of the label (see scan). B SIDE: VG/VG+: there are a lot of surface marks, but the record plays EX-, with just a few background pops in places (the music actually dwarfs the few pops). Both sides acutally play a lot better than it looks. The B-side label has been defaced by "soundman markings" (see scan). The record is also missing its original centre. This has a fair reserve price, in view of the visual defects. Bid with confidence, as all of my records are strictly graded!

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF OVERSEAS COSTS AND ADHERE TO THEM!! I am sick of overseas bidders who win my auctions, then either argue about P&P costs, or pay only part the P&P cost. Any attempt to do this will now result in your money refunded (minus PayPal interest), you will be blocked from my auctions, and reported to Ebay. If you are in this category of bidder, then STAY AWAY. You know who you are, so you have been warned.
3. Payment should reach me within 7 days of the auction closing, unless you have notified me beforehand (eg; holidays, business trips etc.). If I haven’t received payment by then, and the letter has been delayed or lost in the post, please provide the ID number of the recorded/registered letter, and I will help you in trying to trace the letter.
4. Failure to pay within the allotted timeframe will result in NPB/FVF procedures being taken. You may also be blocked from future auctions.
5. Even the best of us make a mistake on the rare occasion when grading records! If you are not completely happy with your win, you are welcome to return it for a full refund of the original cost. Please note that postage costs (send or return) will not be refunded.
