AIRDATE: Feb 12, 13, 14, 1982

Offering one 3 disc 33 1/3 rpm promo-only radio show from 1982. The Source was a popular radio show in the 1970's & 1980's. This one in particular was hosted by radio legend, Sean McKay. Show was sent out to NBC affiliate radio stations in the form of a vinyl record set, complete with cue sheet. All the station had to do was cue up the records and let it rip!

This particular episode is sponsored by Curtiss Candies, the makers of Baby Ruth & Butterfingers candy bars, and the subject of the show is Rod Stewart. The show covers material from the 1960's solo and with the Jeff Beck Band up to 1982. What you'll hear in this set is a complete radio show with Sean McKay's narration, commercials, special segues, and-of course-the music. There is a particularly amusing Baby Ruth commercial featuring a fake Dracula character! Please see our cue sheet scans to get the complete track list.

The show is housed in a plain white jacket with no printing. Discs 2 and 3 are both Near Mint. Disc 1 (sides 1 & 4) shows a few spindle marks on the B side (side 4). Cue sheets are creased & slightly torn with a bit of tape.
