Description
**Very Rare** "ROCKET 88" on Chess 78rpm by Jackie Brenston And His Delta Cats with a young Ike Turner on vocal. This record plays very nicely on my Technics SL-1200 turntable with Ortofon 2M 78 mono cartridge.
Surface has scattered scuffs and scratches and a felt tip marker number on each label. There is a small pressing defect (pockmark) near the edge in the lead-in groove (see picture) that does not affect play at all. It clicks lightly twice well before the recorded performance begins.
