ROCK 'n ROLL. 1955. Baton 12 Inch LP Hi Fi. A Very RARE collection of Instrumentals for Dancing the Lindy Hop. Side A; Frank Cully Orchestra, Side B; Buddy Tate. This Music has many names and it may say Rock 'n Roll however, It's the Lindy alright to me. It has a strong swinging beat. A short time ago this music was virtually unknown and therefore strange to a majority of Americans. Cully playing the Tenor Sax, gives his songs a beat that will have you dancing along with exciting listening. PLAYS; Nine O'Clock Express, Lindy Rock, Bubbles and 2 others.

Tate is one of the most respected Tenor Sax men in the business. Featured in Count Basie Band for years. Alsdo with Lester Young. PLAYS; Sent for You Yesterday, That Girl Tete-a-Tete and 2 others.

This is the only LP listed in a Catalog. Sounds like a jam session making this a fantastic record and a RARE one. The record is like new, quiet and  enjoyable. The cover has signs of aging on the back edges.
