ROBERT WYATT - "ROCK BOTTOM" LP

Great album featuring a fantastic line-up involving other "Soft Machine" members plus, plus…: RICHARD SINCLAIR, HUGH HOPPER, IVOR CUTLER, FRED FRITH, MIKE OLDFIELD, GARY WINDO, ALFREDA BENGE, LAURIE ALLAN and MONGEZI FEZA.

RARE 1974 UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS LP on VIRGIN (V 2017), is in EXCELLENT condition for both record & sleeve.

Many more "Canterbury" related albums in this auction (SOFT MACHINE, ELTON DEAN, OVARY LODGE, KEITH TIPPETT etc.), plus quite a few other original First Pressing psych & prog-rock albums as well.

Please read the following before bidding:

GRADING

All records are originals except when noted. Record is graded first, then the cover.
For grading purposes I use the British Record Collector's grading scale (needless to detail on this one as it's known to all collectors) with occasionally (+) or (-) signs to denote the in-between conditions.

Generally speaking:
a NEAR MINT (M-) grade will give full satisfaction, an EXCELLENT grade is the condition we usually find (shiny vinyl with possibly a mark or two, ONLY seen under a strong light and NOT affecting performance; in most cases NM and EX are pretty close).
A VG+ or even a VG grade might have some light surface marks & occasional light clicks but will give a very enjoyable performance with no skips, pops or unpleasant surface noise. Same logic applies to the cover's grade.
I do not list records at an inferior grade unless they are extremely rare & sought after.

PAYMENT

  1. PAYPAL payments should include an extra 4% handling fee over the total amount with postage.
    Please "REQUEST TOTAL" from seller prior submitting your Paypal payment; by doing so you will save both your time & mine.
     
  2. UK Personal cheques, UK Postal Money Orders & IMOs (International Money Orders) in £, are all accepted and goods shall be dispatched promptly at no extra charge.

  3. Western Union Auction Payments (former BidPay), US Money Orders and US cashiers cheques in USD ($) are all accepted. (prompt shipping - Exchange rate: £1=$1.90)
    Personal cheques in $ are also accepted with an extra $5 handling fee and will delay shipment until they clear (approx. 14 working days - same Exchange rate as above).
     
  4. Credit Cards:
    For a straightforward credit card transaction VISA, MASTER & AMEX are all accepted with a 4% bank commission and the charge shall be processed in EUROS as my bank (credit card operator) is based in continental Europe
    (Exchange rate: £1=EUR 1.60)

  5. Cash only in £, EUR or $ concealed in a registered letter accepted, but at the buyer's risk; no coins please.

UK: £2.70 (single LP), £4.50 (two LPs)

EUROPE: £5 (single LP) and £2.50 for each subsequent

FAR EAST & AUSTRALIA: £6.50 (single LP) and £3.50 for each subsequent

USA & Rest Of The World: £6 (single LP) and £3 for each subsequent

Double albums count as two LPs.

UK: £1.75 (for 1 to 2 singles) and 50p for each subsequent

EUROPE: £2.50 (for 1 to 2 singles) and £1 for each subsequent

INSURANCE

Optional but recommended for valuable parcels as I can't be held responsible for lost parcels, even though not a SINGLE packet has been lost for the whole of my eBay activity!
