Description

ROBERT HALL CLOTHING STORE -- "Values Go Up" Radio Jingle -- ex. rare, original 1969 12" E.P.  Wicked rare and very groovy Promo-only Radio Jingle for late, great Robert Hall Clothing Stores featuring their famous "When the values go up, up, up ... And the prices go down, down, down!" jingle delivered in late 1960's Mod-Pop style with a Matt Monro-type singer and swinging brass in the background.  "Values Go Up" was one of the most famous commercial jingles of its era and was virtually synonymous with Robert Hall, a famed retailer in the New York and L.A. areas that pioneered the big-box, discount retail style (and sadly went out of business in the mid-1970's.)  This features 4 apparently identical takes of the same jingle and was only released to Radio stations for on-air play; these were never sold commercially in stores and copies are extremely difficult to come by.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  VG+/VG++, light surface wear, writing on label, on Robert Hall private label, U.S. press.
