Description
Fantastic sealed album of Ringo Starr entitled, "Ringo". This album is now 45 years old and is the original 1973 release on Apple Records SWAL-3413 in NM- condition overall .
Ringo is the third studio album by Ringo Starr, released in 1973 on Apple Records. It peaked at No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. In Canada, it reached No. 1 on the RPM national albums chart. The album is noted for the appearance of all four Beatles, and for its numerous guest stars, something which would become a signature for Starr on many of his subsequent albums and tours. This album has the hits "You're Sixteen", "Photograph", "Oh My My" and "I'm The Greatest" included. Most fans will tell you this is Ringo's best album.
This is a beautiful, original, sealed copy of the 1973 gatefold album, "Ringo". Four very nice corners and this is a very thick and heavy album, given the gatefold and a thick lyric booklet included inside. These sealed Ringo LPs are getting harder to find these days, especially in this condition. If you are looking for a FINAL upgrade to your collection, this is the one.
The spine and seams are lovely, no shrink breaks or opening at the mouth (which is rare for this super thick construction because of the pressure from the big booklet inside the gatefold cover). Two breathe holes on the front cover (coming down vertically about 3" from the spine side).
The shrink is real nice and tight with four sharp corners. The front cover has two breathe holes and the back cover has three. With this LP being so dark, it is amazing that there is but just a tiny hint of ringwear at all on both sides! Most of these LPs easily show where the record is underneath the cardboard. This is a great find for an Elton John collector or folks that like Sample/Promo limited items.
You will not be disappointed in this gem - it is gorgeous and a fantastic addition to your collection.
No store stickers, residue, saw marks, cuts or shrink splitting! Beautiful tight shrink wrap with a breathe hole on both the front and back covers - super clean, original and nicely sealed album.
Please ask any further questions you may have and happy bidding!
Sorry, no international shipping outside of North America (for shipping to Canada please contact me before purchasing so that I can provide an estimate of shipping costs).
Note: I cannot and will not accept any returns on sealed LPs that have been opened or attempts at opening these sealed gems. Once the shrink is cracked open it is non-returnable (standard practice for anyone selling sealed LPs).
