Description

Audiophiles take note.  Offered for your consideration is the very rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recording Rickie Lee Jones self titled album.  Half speed mastered from the original generation source, this is definitely the album to play when demonstrating the capabilities of a true audiophile’s system.

With pampering care, the pressing has been played only a couple of times, exclusively on a Denon DP-60L turntable equipped with a straight tone arm affixed to a Dynavector Systems Karat 17D diamond cantilever moving coil cartridge (cleaned via electronic stylus cleaner).  The tracking force was exactly 1.75 grams.  Since its purchase, the album has been reverently stored in climate controlled conditions, perfectly perpendicular.

Upon purchase, the album was immediately secured in a thick audiophile grade vinyl LP cover sleeve (included in the auction).  The album retains all original materials including the “Super Jac” heavy duty jacket, original warranty card and customer service questionnaire, special protective board, ultra-protective rice paper anti-static/anti dust inner sleeve, and of coarse, the imported “super-vinyl” pressing itself.  The vinyl was meticulously maintained with a Discwasher D4 Record Care System and has no hair, dust, skips, scratches, fingerprints, hiss or static.
