This is one of a number of records that I have for sale at the moment so please take a look at the others on my eBay shop, Past-Times Records and Collectables. Description: - WOW! What a find an original UK single from Richie Blackmore/Ritchie Blackmore titled ‘Getaway’ b/w ‘Little Brown Jug’, this is the original with the label spelling “Richie”, please refer to the photos. This is my own copy that I am selling. This record hardly ever turns up for sale, so don’t miss it or you’ll regret it and who knows when another will appear on the market for sale especially in this clean condition. Ritchie Blackmore born Richard Hugh Blackmore on14 April 1945 is a British guitarist & songwriter. He began his professional career as a session musician as a member of the instrumental band The Outlaws and as a backing musician for some of Joe Meek’s RGM stable singers like Glenda Collins, Heinz, Screaming Lord Sutch, Neil Christian and many more. Ritchie Blackmore was also one of original members of the rock group Deep Purple. During his solo career, he established his own heavy metal band Rainbow. Later in life, he formed the traditional folk rock project Blackmore's Night. Please remember to add me to your favourite sellers. Label: - The record is on Oriole Records, catalogue number CB 314, this is an original UK release from ©1965: Matrix No’s J-1207-1 & J-1208-1. Sleeve: - The sleeve is an original company sleeve. Condition: - The condition of the record is as follows: - A side MINT- condition; B side MINT- condition. There are 2 or 3 marks on each side but they don’t affect the play. Please listen to the sound clip of the actual record to get an idea of how well this record plays. The sleeve is in very good condition as can be seen in the photos. Labels are nice & clean with no writing on either side. This would make a lovely addition to any ones collection.
