Description

Great piano solos from Richard M Jones in his first recorded performance on 1 June 1923, recorded in Richmond Indiana. Visually the record has reasonable shine, with slight dulling and with very light needle wear on Side A "Jazzin" and a graze NAP , less so on Side B. The original pressing does not seem to be all that high quality. However the general lack of wear merits the VG+ grading. Aurally, the disc plays very well, with some background noise, again partially due to the original pressing and good clear music with no distortion. Noise could be reduced with EQ or similar. A historic first record by Jones , in fairly good condition.
