Cinésource 10 ST-57960, 1978 Original issue / Private (Independant) pressing (Canada) Double LP
Hard-to-find final release from Franco-Ontario composer/musician Richard A. Seguin (all compositions, acoustic guitar, bottleneck, banjo), who along with other Franco Ontario artists like CANO and Robert Paquette, was adopted by the Quebec French-speaking public.
Not to be confused with Quebec's own folk rocker Richard Seguin (Les Seguin & Nouvelle Frontiere), this Eastern Ontario songwriter Richard A. Seguin recorded just 3 independant all-instrumental solo LP's in the mid-70's and never achieved anywhere near the fame of his similarly-named neighbour.
Self-composed, self-recorded & self-produced in Ottawa and privately funded, Richard A Seguin delivers an extremely accomplished and beautiful set of 25 all-instrumental acoustic guitar-driven tracks....excellent rural folk and acoustic folk rock with some nice guitar interplay .......accompanied by Mark Beneteau (acoustic guitar), Roch Tassé (percussion), Fred Priebe (acoustic guitar), Jean Laporte (arrangements).
