Description

This is the extremely rare and sought after recording by Violinist Ruggiero Ricci and The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pierino Gamba. Presented is the original pressing on the black, deep groove Decca ffss label, SXL-2006. This thick,heavy vinyl record is a Stereophonic release.  "Original Recording By The Decca Record Co. Ltd. London" is printed across the upper labels.The record is housed in the original blue trimmed back cover. (see pics)

Side 1--Mendelssohn: Concerto In E Minor For Violin And Orchestra, Op. 64.

First Movement:  Allegro Molto Appassionato--Second Movement:  Andante--Third Movement:  Allegro Molto Vivace.

Side 2-- Bruch: Concerto No. 1 In G Minor For Violin And Orchestra.

First Movement:  Vorspiel--Allegro Moderato--Second Movement:  Adagio--Third Movement  Allegro Energico.
