RIC MARLOW -- I'm Gonna Make You Love Me/To You, My Own -- ex. rare, original late 1950's (?) U.S. 45 single. Very good and apparently completely unknown 45 by Ric Marlow, who released a handful of Popcorn-Male Pop-Teen Rock style singles in the late 1950's but is best-known as co-writer of "A Taste Of Honey," covered by The Beatles etc. "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" is uptempo hepcat Male Pop swinger in a kind of Bobby Darin vein, good stuff; flipside "To You, My Own" is slow, moody Male Pop - Teen Rock ballad, equally good. There's absolutely no information about this one anywhere, and I've never seen another copy. In generic sleeve. Record: VG+, light surface wear, overall quite clean, on Wayco label, U.S. press.
