THE REMAINS - THE REMAINS, Epic LN24214, original yellow label mono pressing, released in 1966. Vinyl is a lustrous NM- with a few very superficial sleeve scuffs and light scratches; plays beautifully and sounds absolutely great turned up loud. The original mono mix is punchy and fantastically mixed; this has got to be one of the best sounding records of the 60s. Every instrument is distinct, the high end crisp and the bottom solid as rock. Label is clean with a couple of light spindle marks on both sides. Cover is a good looking VG+ with just a bit of edge, corner and ring wear, and two 1/2" circular stains on back; otherwise really nice, with no seam splits or writing! Why weren't these guys famous?! This legendary album deserves its place in the pantheon of great American 60s records by virtually unknown bands. Garage rock doesn't get any better than The Remains. This is a very fine copy of the highly collectible mono pressing. I've been collecting classic rock 'n' roll, soul, rhythm & blues and folk music for over 35 years, so I know how important great pop music is to you.
