"LINE OF LEAST RESISTANCE" b/w "NATURAL LOVIN' MAN"

REGAL ZONOPHONE RECORDS RZ 3028 ~ Vintage First 1970 Release pressing 7"

KEITH RELF and JIM McCARTY were exhausted by the late period of The YARDBIRDS by management, business, and promotion issues - despite Jimmy Page's enthusiasm for leading their blues sound to a heavier hitting direction. Indeed Relf was interested in progressing into a classical edged baroque folk rock style, and so Renaissance was born! This song however, was penned but hadn't made it onto the 'Illusion' LP, or the debut album - so as a quality piece it wasn't to go to waste, so it made it onto this single with REIGN. An excellent track, one can imagine it fitting the Renaissance style at that time.  This sold very few copies nonetheless, and is EXTREMELY hard to find now! Only a handful have been sold on eBay before, so it was fast deleted, and probably the ones that hit the shops got returned unsold. A flop it certainly was, but as a Yardbirds related single it's revered now.  The flip is a Curtis Mayfield cover It's in WONDERFUL Near Mint condition!
Rare and much almost never seen, but I make it a 'Buy it Now' for the first lucky collector
