PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

CRAZY RARE original first (and ONLY) single sleeve double LP UK pressing of this trip hop monster from September 28, 1998 released on the forever collectable Warp label and distributed here in US by the equally collectable Matador Records with original custom barcoded Matador tag on the rear cover!!!  LPs are a beautiful VG++/NM-.  Cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with some wear in the bottom left hand corner.  I bought this new at Reckless Records here in Chicago and played it a handful of times.  Even has the original custom barcoded $15.99 Reckless info/price label on the outer poly sleeve dated March of 2001 (and listed as new so you know it's legit) from when I purchased rarity over 25 years ago(!) at their Wicker Park location.  Lead off track The Sleepless, the soundtrack to a psychedelic fever-dream nightmare, is worth a thousand times the price of admission on its own merit but this whole LP is a spectacular under-the-radar UK leftfield killer so don't sleep (pun intended) trip-hop collectors.  For reasons beyond my comprehension this has NEVER seen a reissue and is incredibly hard to find here in The States.  A high grade first pressing with airtight provenance that can be traced to the exact month and point of purchase.  THIS is what collecting is about trip hop collectors.  You will not be disappointed.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
