Description

"Red Norvo's Fabulous Jam Session," Dial 903, Long Playing 33 1/3 RPM Microgroove LP. Original LP issue of the legendary 1945 swing-to-bop session featuring Red Norvo, Teddy Wilson, Flip Phillips, Slam Stewart, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, J.C. Heard and Spec Powell. LP is in good/very good condition, with full-bodied sound with some background noise. Each side has several visible, but inaudible scuffs; there are occasional isolated ticks but no scratches. Labels retain their bright colors - spindle marks are noticeable under direct light. Textured, embossed cover is in very good condition, with a 1" split along the bottom seam. Previous owner's name is neatly written in the top left corner on the back. Tracks include two takes each of Hallelujah, Get Happy, Slam Slam Blues and Congo Blues Thanks and good luck.
