Description
This 45 rpm record was purchased at an estate sale a while back, the original owner had worked at a five and dime type variety store during the 1950's to early 1960's (Levinger's, Baker City, Oregon; similar to the old Ben Franklin/Sprouse Reitz stores of the day); fortunately for us, and you, she was a hoarder and brought home many items that were stashed away, never used. . . . we will be listing many more BRAND NEW OLD/DEAD STOCK 45's as time allows so check back often!
Please note that grading is VISUAL only, we don't have a way to play the records to grade sound quality!
This record with picture sleeve features a young Johnny Crawford, also known as one of the original 1955 Mouseketeers and as "Mark McCain", the son on "The Rifleman" television series (1958 to 1963); it is on the "Del-Fi Records; Hollywood, California" record label, their release #DF-4178; songs are "Cindy's Birthday", written by "H. Winn & J. Hooven" and "Something Special", written by "Herschel Burke Gilbert, Alfred Perry & Barry DeVorzon". The record is in Very Good Plus to Near Mint (VG+ to NM) condition using the Goldmine record grading standards as a guide; has traces of handling, a light finger print smudge, slight margin rubs, traces of dust; no heavy scratches, no warps, no ring wear, no distortion/wear to center hole; of note is that the label of the "Cindy's Birthday" side has a slight wrinkle from application, crossing the lettering between the "H" and "D" of birthday and the "D" of Crawford; the label on the flip side was applied very closely to the center hole so that the "ing" lettering of "Something" is partially cut out. The picture sleeve is in Very Good to Very Good Plus (VG to VG+) condition with slight storage wear, trace soiling, three out of four turned up/lightly bent corners, partial and slight pressure outline of record from improper storage, side seams are intact.
