Description

This is a 2-disc RCA Victor Vinylite 78 set DV-14, with Sir Thomas Beecham and the Royal Philharmonic in Delius' Brigg Fair.  This short-lived series pressed on vinylite was RCA's attempt to provide an unbreakable record with quiet surfaces, at a premium  price of $2.50 per disc.   Therefore not many were sold, and due to the heavy pickups of the day were often worn out after 1 or 2 playings.   Therefore they are very rare and seldom seen.  Each album has a facsimile signature of the artist on the cover.   This copy appears in excellent condition.
