ARTIST:  E. Power Biggs – Concert Organist - Born in Essex, England in 1906, Edward George Power Biggs emigrated to the U.S. in 1930. Two years later, he took a post at Christ Church in Cambridge, MA, where he lived for the rest of his life, dying 19 days short of his 71st birthday on 3/10/77.

DISC CONDITION:  VG+ or better – I’m actually grading the side that has the Spider-web type design, rather than the one playable, test pressing side. Although the pressed side does look very playable, I anticipate most of the interest in this record will be the result of the special design on the “blank” side. I hope my pix clearly shows the very artistic design pressed into the shellac which includes the brand, “RCA Victor” as well as the “RCA” logo and the representation of Nipper, the RCA Dog listening to His Master’s Voice through the horn of an old style wind-up phonograph, all surrounded by the spider-web design elements. This record is very suitable for framing and enjoying for many years. There are no chips, cracks or other issues.
