Description
This is one of the holy grails of RCA Living Stereo and a pure sonic power house. This record is the earliest 1S/A1 on both sides. There are a few non-feelable marks on side A plus some very minor sleeve marks. Side B looks very, very clean. And the sound, oh wow. The non-feelable marks play through beautifully and did not produce pops in my system, and towards the end of side A I did hear some ticks and pops even though that portion of the record looked clean and without marks visually. Because of this I am grading more conservatively at VG to VG+, but to me the record plays better than that. As for the cover, it is in VG shape with a 3-inch seam split in the upper right corner and a 1-inch seam split in the bottom center. Cover also showed corner and edge wear, common for a 60-year old record. There’s a “For Demonstration Purposes Only” stamp in the back.
About me –
I am an audiophile and have been collecting records for over 30 years. All the records that I am selling are from my own personal collection, and went through the same treatments – VPI record cleaning machine, new inner sleeve if necessary, then demagnetize with Furutech DeMag. You can be sure that the records will not be full of dust, finger prints, or hair. I am downsizing my record collection and I wish these records bring you much musical enjoyment as they did to me.
