Hard to find early 1960s Australian pressing
P. Ramlee – Rayuan Ramlee (10 inch) Ramlee’s Serenade. Album II
Tan Sri Dr P. Ramlee PSM, AMN (22 March 1929 - 29 May 1973) was a Malaysian film actor, director singer, and songwriter. Due to his contributions in the movie and music industry, as well as in the literary scene, he is often attributed as the icon of Malay entertainment in both Malaysia, Singapore as well as in Sumatra, Indonesia.
This is a very rare Malay album. Try finding another one on vinyl! Near impossible to find!

Side Two: Sri Bunian (Beautiful Fairy Princess); Tudong Periok (Cooking Pot Cover); Bulan Dan Juga Angin (The Moon And The Wind); Dengarlah Gemala Hati (Listen To The Thrill Of My Heart); Resam Rindu (The Way Of Love).
The album is on Parlophone Malay Records, PMDE 307. Matrix side one: PMDE 307-1 and XSIN143 (written). Matrix side two: PMDE 307-2 and XSIN144 (written).
Released in 1962? Australian pressing. 10” LP. Mono.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light)
Vinyl side 1: very good (The vinyl still looks great and retains its original sheen. A few very light marks can be seen when looked at closely, one that causes a few light clicks on track four and a couple on track five, but nothing that detracts from your enjoyment of the record, the audio is still crisp and clear, still a great listen).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (The vinyl still looks great and retains its original sheen. A few very light superficial marks can be seen when looked at closely that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Cover (glossy front and back, flipback): excellent (light corner wear, small creases top right and bottom left - see photos).
The record plays with no sticks, jumps or skips.
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
