New Jazz 8227 RARE '59 MONO deep groove press. "RVG" (Van Gelder stamp), purple label of his '57 Prestige 7098 LP.
(QUESTION: Has anyone actually had a Prestige copy? All the copies sold over the last 8 years that popsike displays are New Jazz or Status labels. Hard to believe that not one Prestige copy has sold. Discogs does show a photo of one with the Prestige cover and labels. But none for sale.  I'm amazed. Must be one of the rarest Prestige LPs.)

Jacket Grade:   VG++ Light wear to cover art. Age yellowing on back. Top corner spine wear. No splits. 
  
Record Grade: Very clean VG++ Little to no visible play wear. Cleaned on the VPI and play graded. A few light sleeve and surface marks. Small manufacturer's defect bump in vinyl on both sides, causes low "tic" for 5 revolutions; at start of song 3 on side 1 and in middle of song 2 on side 2. Otherwise plays loud and crisp with minimal surface noise. No deep scratches. Shiny vinyl.
