RARE/VINTAGE/PUNK STRIKE UNDER "IMMEDIATE ACTION" LP 1981 This is a fave old school Chi-town disc!
Overall in fantastic condition.
The sleeve is in very good condition with minimal wear to the corners and open edge
It even includes the RARE ORIGINAL insert with the band name, members and LP production info - not very fancy, but very uncommon to find with this LP.
The record itself is in really good condition - no real flaws to note. There are some letters & numbers etched into the inner shiny part, as if it was in a juke box at one time.
Strike Under was a punk rock band from Chicago, IL, formed in 1980. The group featured brothers Steve (lead vocals, guitar) and Chris (guitar, backing vocals) Björklund along with Pierre Kezdy (bass) and Bob Furem (drums). The band was short-lived, breaking up in late 1981. According to the documentary film "You Weren't There: A History Of Chicago Punk 1977-1984", tension between the brothers, which could escalate into physical altercations, sometimes while the band was onstage, was the cause of their demise. After the split, Steve Björklund formed Terminal Beach and, later, Breaking Circus.
