Description
I have up for auction a record (78) on the dark green and gold ZONOPHONE RECORD label, International Zonophone Company, early 1900s, probably 1910-15 era. It is #X-68040, a Russian recording with most of the information given in the Russian alphabet. It is a CYMBEL Solo, I believe also calle Cembalo, an interesting sounding stringed instrument. I have pictures of labels for titles on both sides. At bottom it also has the word Mockba, not sure if that is the artist or something else. The record is in very good condition, not overly worn and scuffs and scratches are light and mainly surface variety; a few below surface but no overbearing ticks. Great ethnic collectible from nearly 100 years ago!
