This is a supercool CECIL LEUTER album "Pop Electronique" 1969 LP (FRANCE, MEUILLY MC 8005). Cover / record = NM / NM. BEAUTIFUL LP, FRIGGIN RARE, NOT THE REISSUE!!!! GREAT GREAT COPY, try to find another original, and especially in THIS NICE CONDITION!!! Small reserve compared to what it's worth! GREAT!!!!

Other tracks introduce lead electric guitar, organ and bass guitar, but are generally stripped down, aggressive sounding and catchy. People who think Moog music is cheesy and dated should hear this gem of a record. Despite a certain reliance on '60s dance styles like the Jerk, it still has a futuristic allure.

Fantastic funky electronics! This rare sound library album by Cecil Leuter takes the funky moog groove of Jean-Jacques Perrey or Pierre Henry, and takes it to the next level! Cecil moogs it along fast and funky on a dozen tracks -- backed by a small combo with organ, guitar, bass, and a very nifty drummer! You may have heard the cut "Pop Electronique #2" on the Jazzman reissue series -- but the whole thing's just as good, with loads of cool electronics over funky beats and sharp jazzy riffs. Just about every cut's a winner, and this is the kind of moogy record we'd sell our teeth for!
