We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing by a sixties Hollywood outfit whose album is one of those strange late sixties barrier-breaking experimental efforts fusing different musical genres.

With Members of Bill Plummers Cosmic Brotherhood; This beautiful and obscure gem is one of the earliest examples of fusion, with the distinct West Coast jazz influence, tasteful, relaxed and cool. Very melodic, with some great writing and arranging by the band members ... quite different from the fusion mainstream, and therefore unique psychedelic folky jazzy cool. Man, this is really hip stuff ...

"Stone Folk" is the all-time classic you probably heard which brought you here and it's definitely the album's best track, but "Fall Out" has made its way onto a handful of 60s psych comps and for good reason. The record maintains a sort of ethereal atmosphere and the musicianship is always top-notch. "Moorish Mode" is also notable for its incorporation of Spanish flavor, and is one of several tracks that gets bonus points for the heavy use of vibraphone (a cool instrument).

Juliet opens a flawless A-side with a medieval influenced psychedelic rock tune. As the needle drops you can hear an overall sound and recording style that's reminiscent and true to the times, yet clearly isn't jumping on any trendy bandwagons either. Interestingly enough there is no jazz element at all to this opener, a strange move for seasoned jazz musicians. They make their jazz talents abundantly clear shortly thereafter on "Painful Struggle," which slowly lifts off with a bowed upright bass solo before turning into a lengthy modal jazz-rock improvisation where the guitarist and vibraphonist get the chance to explore their imaginations.

"Stone Folk" moves further into this unique fusion territory by bringing the rock style and psychedelic composition to a traditional jazz form. Likely the most well realized track on the album (and the only one with any vocals), its a great and catchy tune with a unique chord progression these guys just soar on. All of their influences come together beautifully here. The rest of the tunes play similarly to these. The trio of Grass Mass, Sunflower, and She drop that jazz influence to explore that rich psychedelic folk-rock sound again like Juliet. "Moorish Mode" echoes the form of "Painful Struggle," except this time in a more exotic Phrygian scale. Elsewhere, "Hobo Express" is really just there as platform to do some collective improvising over a basic blues form. "Child at Play" is another nice psychedelic rock tune. This particular album is an attempt to fuse acid rock jazz and folk .

CONDITION: The Cover: is rated M- ALL solid (no soft spots, flat & square) and very white all over...has no delete marks ... solid seams, no bends, no writing ...a beauty 

The Vinyl: lots of shine, rated: near M- easily plays TOP level enjoyable all the way through with no alarming audio problems... Good luck finding another copy this clean...has clean Philips labels
