For your consideration is Ricky Hodges' 1972 ballad on Music Flow (577842), "Return Your Love to Me". The flip is a funky instrumental titled "Smoking Rhythm" that's attributed to Ricky Hodges Rhythmeres. Samples are below.
This essential Ohio soul / Ohio funk release, recorded in Cleveland at Boddie Recording Company, is an excellent acquisition for the discerning collector.
LABELS' CONDITIONS: The labels are VG+ with slight label wear only evident on the "Smoking Rhythm" side. This wear includes a slight, red transfer from another label near the top. See the photos for additional detail.
VINYL CONDITION: Visually, each side appears a strong VG+. There is slight evidence of the record's age, but nothing that will detract from the listening experience.
