Well, it has come time to send my kid through college. Not having a big bank account, I'm selling my record collection and other odds & ends. During the next few month's you will see many rare or hard-to-find Beatles items listed along with other artists. My collection is an example of music history, some known, unknown, rarely heard, or seen. I will have a hard time parting with them.
Introducing the Beatles rare STEREO blank back cover, VEE-JAY SR 1062. Meets tests for authenticity as shown on site below. The value of this piece is in the cover, not the record, as it is only fair condition. I tried to show the edge warp on one part of it and it's not showing an "S" so I don't know if it's the right record for the jacket or not. The site says many discs were mis-enclosed so maybe it is. Don't know. All I know is the cover is authentic with no splits or seam damage other than corner wear and the normal picture wear of an item reaching 43 years old. The price label was left on the rear from a record shop, Tune Time Inc. Kenwood Plaza, Cincinnati, Ohio. Price was $3.98. Along the left and lower edges you may notice 4 or so very slight wrinkles where the cover was bent in handling the record. Most would not notice them at all as they are slight. You may notice one in the photo near the VEEJAY, one further down below center, and one in the lower right, bottom. Glued overlaps at top and bottom of cover (you see them only on the inside) are 1/4 inch. Please write with any questions before bidding if interested. DO TO VALUE OF THIS ITEM, IT WILL BE INSURED AND WELL PACKED. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO SIGN FOR IT, BUT ANY SIGNATURE WILL STAND AS PROOF OF DELIVERY.
