RARE Promo 45 RPM I Wanna Come Back (From The World of LSD) Garage/Psychedelic

I fished this out of a garage sale box years ago. I must have brought home a 100 or so 45's from that lot but one thing that struck me about the experience is all of the records in the box were sleeved, dated from about 1964-1969, they were all rock and most were fairly collectible. I had never heard of this band so imagine my surprise when I started researching them? It was probably sent to a local Wichita Kansas DJ and made it to this guy's collection from there. This record is a promo, one of about 100 issued in the promo format by the Fe-Fi-Four Plus 2 on Lance records out of New Mexico about 1967. The record was produced by Tommy Bee. In the deadwax on the "I Wanna" side it reads: " Stu- 9117 LANCE- BEE -101 (2:16). Deadwax on the flip side reads: "Stu-9117 BEE-LANCE 101 (2:20). It's included on numerous Garage/Psych CD samplers and is extremely rare. It has been reissued but this is an original and the promo. Later versions did not have the LSD reference on the label. I have auditioned both sides using a Thorens TD 160 and it plays beautifully, with reverb laden fuzz guitar, combo organ, and hilarious lyrics. Double Crossin' Girl offers more of the same, at a slower tempo. There's a few pops in the start-up wax but both sides are super quiet from there on. As for condition, I don't sell records for a living so I will do my best to describe it layman's terms. When held to the light you will find numerous tiny surface scuffs on both sides but I could not detect any pops or skips as a result of them when listening. There is the residue from a white grease pencil on the Double Crossin' Girl side that clearly reads "#50". Whether that has anything to do with the record originally or not I can't state. I pulled the contrast out on the picture so you could see it more clearly. On the "I Wanna..." label there is sticker residue from 1/2" square sticker. There is also a pen mark about 3/8" in diameter. The "Double Crossin' Girl" label is clean. Please examine the pictures carefully before bidding.
