Grade Explanation M- Mint minus Like new. The record does not have any visible light scratches or cracks. E+ Excellent Plus The record has hardly visible small scratches etc. The label may have some * In effect E+ means almost faultless. We think you can find records graded E+ quite satisfactory, unless you are a collector who is determined to own a brand new record. EX Excellent There are some light scratches and cracks on the record (which can be felt by touch). Sometimes these slight defects may influence sound. *Although some noise is audible in quieter sections of the record, such as fade-outs, and it is especially conspicuous between tracks, it does not have a profound influence on the whole record. The label may have discolorations or ring wear. VG+ Very Good Plus There is a slight but noticeable scuff or a deeper scratch. However, there is no needle jumping. The label has discoloration and wear. VG Very Good There are quite a few noticeable scuffs, but the overall surface of the record is clean. There is no needle jumping. G BAD The surface of the record is generally not clean, with quite a few scratches. It is playable, but it will significantly affect the listening experience.
