Description
SMOKE AND PET FREE HOME. This LP has been well kept. My father is the only person who has owned the disc. It is part of his personal collection. It has been locked away for several decades in a secure place in our home so therefore has seen little wear and tear.

Why is this a 1st Pressing?
First pressing. August 6, 1965. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” prnted at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 549-2; Side 2: XEX 550-2.
What is the Printing Error?
For the first labels used Time New Roman font. Small “The Beatles” band name on both sides of the label. On side 1 the “Northern Songs, NCB” credit appears below the band name. The side 2 layout differs from the other TNR variants. It is believed this is the first TNR label that appeared and the side 2 error was soon rectified.
This listing has this exact error.
The album sleeve has been discoloured slightly due to it being white and also over 50 years old).
Vinyl is has only slight surface marks on Side 2.
Inner Paper Sleeve is looking great.
