Up for auction from the personal collection of B. Bomberg is a beautiful copy of the ORIGINAL $100 Fine LP on the Hexagon label released in 1968. This is NOT a bootleg OR re-issue by Get-Hip or anyone else but the ORIGINAL. I (Zip Caplan) personally gave this copy to Bomberg when the album first came out since he was the co-arranger with me on the last track on Side 1- The Mummy which follows Subsititute on the Distortions LP. When I gave it to him it was a new shrunk-wrapped copy. He opened it and played it once and it's been sitting on his shelf since then. He asked recently if I would auction it off for him so here it is. The cover virtually looks like new with the ever so slightest dirt smudge through the L and T in Litter at the bottom of the cover, NO split seams or scrapes or tears and is still vibrant--the back cover also looks great. The record is VG+++ or in other terms NM condition with no scratches and only some minor paper scuffs and the label on both sides is totally clean (the scan DOES NOT do it justice)---this is far and away the nicest copy I've ever seen other than a shrunk wrapped one that I sold myself about 10 years ago--obviously that copy had never been played and was perfect---this one is running a close second to it. This is a real find for some lucky Litter fan out there and I WILL sign this copy for the winning bidder if they want me to. There is a Reserve but it is fair and reasonable for the RARE condition of this LP so take advantage of this opportunity and grab this Gem while it's available!!!!
