RARE ORIGINAL FRENCH LP THE BEATLES - "HELP"
This French version of "HELP" dates from early 1965 and is on the blue Odeon label: OSX 230
Matrix numbers: CBS OSX 230 LPL 3594 380 - CBS OSX 230 LPL 3593 380
Housed in an attractive fully laminated French designed/printed cover, complete with its original plain white inner-sleeve.

A vibrant and clean set with just some barely visible spindle marks around each undamaged centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean and retain a healthy deep-gloss shine, free from any groove-whitening or clouded areas. Strong daylight shows up several small scuffs and light scratches but nothing deep or feelable. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals numerous light/wispy hairlines but again, nothing serious.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This great sounding pressing retains all the warmth and clarity of the UK pressing and despite having been played many times, shows no signs of any groove/playwear distortion or background crackle/interference. In fact, apart form an occasional light tick between some tracks, there is little to fault sound-wise.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This striking cover is in very respectable shape bearing general storagewear, but no major issues.
The front panel is clean and glossy with a visible disc impression and light scratches from storage but no heavy creasing or missing laminate. There is some shelfwear to the corners which appears to have been touched up at some point in the past along with the front opening edge. There is also some light wear to the edges themselves. the rear panel is overall clean & bright with some minor age-toning but no writing or missing paper.
Both seams are smooth and unsplit.
