Description
Just in time for the holidays, another super rare 1947 country 78RPM by the North Carolina Ridge Runners.
Security 1005 features Ola Belle Reed singing and playing the banjo on side A ("Rainin' Rainin' Here This Morning") and bandleader Arthur Woods singing a classic country number on side B ("Remember Me").
What's best is, this copy is NEW OLD STOCK. Only played once by me in its entire existence to verify conditions. These Security 78s are notoriously pressed on very brittle shellac...and I had a number of copies crack in my hands through the years...it's really a wonder this copy exists in such beautiful state.
