BUY GROOVY RECORDS AND GET YOUR GROOVE ON!
Up for auction is this great and ultra rare Northern Soul promotional 45 rpm record by Troy Dodds on the obscure El Camino label # 701 released in 1966. Side A is " The Real Thing ". The B side is " Try My Love ". There are many light scratches but amazingly plays through on both sides and sounds pretty good. Both labels have wear as seen in the photo's. There's also an X written on the A side label and one of the mountains has been shaded in on the B side. Unfortunately, this very hard to find record is only in VG- to VG condition.
GRADING:
MINT Perfect record, clean and glossy, no marks.
MINT- Very clean with only one or two light marks; plays and sounds perfect. Clean labels.
VG++ Very few surface marks but no scratches. Should look fairly new, play through and sound good with minimal surface noise. Labels may have small amount of writting or sticker.
VG+ More surface marks and maybe a few faint scratches. Has some shine left. Should still play and look good but with more surface noise.
VG Still a nice record but looks used with some scratches. Still plays fairly well with a few obvious pops and or hissing.
VG- Record shows lots of wear, marks and or scratches, and the sound quality is poor.
PLEASE NOTE: All of our 45's are shipped in Photo/Doc. Mailers, between 2 pieces of cardboard and marked "Fragile" and "Do Not Bend". These mailers are a very safe way to send records because they are only processed with other letters and envelopes. Not mixed with large and heavier packages. Buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage to items once packed and shipped. In the unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during shipment, buyer must contact U.S.P.S. to file a claim.
