Neil Young - Self-Titled First Solo Album (No-Name Sleeve)

This auction is for a rare copy of Neil Young's debut solo album with the original sleeve design that did not have a banner with his name across the top. This copy is in excellent condition for an LP of it's age and I have included plenty of photos so that bidders can get an accurate idea of what they will receive.

The album sleeve is in very good shape with just a little browning due to age and very slight shelf-wear to the edges & small tears on the side where the record has been taken in & out . The spine is very slightly faded but the text on it is still clearly legible (it reads: RS 6317 Neil Young/6317). The inside of the gatefold sleeve is bright and clean (as can be seen in the photo) with just a little browning, again due to age. The original Reprise Records inner sleeve is present and in decent condition. I have included photos of both labels for reference, but the etching in the run-out wax is as follows:

Side 2: IS BLANK NO NUMBERS OR LETTERS

The LP itself looks to have only been played a few times. There are some very light surface marks on both sides of the disc (most likely from the LP rubbing against the inner sleeve) but these do not affect playback (I have played this album through and it plays perfectly). All of these marks are very slight, there are no scratches on the vinyl whatsoever.
