Description

Up for auction is an amazing estate find. A very rare poster for Mckinney's Cotton Pickers! Very cool and hardly seen advertising for a wonderful and well known dance/ jazz era band. Printed on thick card stock type card board. Shows Victor Records.

Full dimensions of the whole poster is approximately 22.5 INCHES in length and approximately 14 inches in width. The approximate size of the actual advertising portion is approximately 17.5 Inches in length by approximately 14 inches in width. Appears to have never been cut snd finished out.

Although rare this poster does a MANY CONDITION ISSUES. It appears the poster was once used as a filing cabinet divider at one time with a file sticker placed in the 30s it appears. Estimated possible date of poster could be from 1928 to 1931, Victor Records. Shows to have been printed in Dallas Texas. Graphics are good. Has many creases, especially one large crease across the middle. Staining us apparent all over the poster. There is a tear that starts from the top of the blank portion snd runs into the top of the graphics. The tear goes all the way through on both sides. Dont forget the filing sticker on the back with what apoears to be a date of 2-2-38.There us much damage and LOOK PHOTOS OVER CLOSELY PLEASE BEFORE BUYING! SOLD AS IS. This is a rare opportunity to get a spectacular piece, but realize condition is very low. I still this the top blank portion could be cut off and the remainder framed to make an amazing piece in you record or phonograph room. DONT MISS OUT ON A RARE PIECE!
