Led Zeppelin II Original US First Press, Atlantic, SD 8236, 1969 Bob Ludwig Hot Mix with RL, and SS etchings on both sides A1 and B1 matrix stampers VERY RARE!!!
Original Zep II HOLY GRAIL edition. This is the true original first press with Robert Ludwig's famous hot mix.  this was quickly taken off shelves in the 60's for being "defective".  The mix was so loud and punchy that the vibration would cost most turntables to skip.  Of course people thought there was something wrong w the record and returned it.  Atlantic then released a more subdued release so peoples system could handle it.  Naturally today's equiptment can totally rock this LP with no problem.  There are less than 50,000 in existance, and that is nothing for an album that went platinum many many times over.
I am selling many classics from my personal stash, and they are all in stunning collector's condition, or so rare that they don't need to be. So please look at my other listings for other hard to find wax.  I will always combine shipping at the lowest costs possible.
Condition:
Vinyl: LP is (VG) clean labels, has a fair amount of light surface hairlines, plays beautiful and loud with only some faint background crackle that never overpowers music.  There is one skip on bring it on home, but otherwise the playback is fantastic. 
Jacket: (VG)  original wide spine sleeve only issued with the RL release, vibrant art, no splits, some signs of shelf wear, and age discoloration lower grade.   (see pics with zoom)
