LITTLE RICHARD EP
LITTLE RICHARD

Side 1: AIN’T NOTHIN’ HAPPENIN’ * WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME
Side 2: EVERY HOUR * I BROUGHT IT ALL ON MYSELF

LABEL: RCA Camden CAE-416

GRADE: Record: M-; Picture Jacket: VG+

CONDITION: RECORD: The record is in beautiful condition. It’s only been played twice--over 45 years ago and today! It plays like new. SLEEVE: From being stored for several decades, the sleeve has some light storage rubbing and ring wear [see scanned photo] from the record being stored inside the sleeve. Also, there is a little pen mark on the front cover. There are no split seams, no bent corners, and no other markings. This is a rare EP in amazingly wonderful shape--looks great and plays beautifully!

DESCRIPTION: This is the EP made from Little Richard’s very first recordings that he made on the RCA Victor label in 1952. This Camden EP was issued in 1956 and is a really difficult little item to get--especially in the condition this is in. Richard--unlike some artists on their first recordings--is recognizable! The main difference between these recordings and his Specialty releases is that he sang more blues material on RCA. There are two slow blues and two jump blues on this EP, and they are all outstanding! If you want to hear and own a little bit of history--plus own a very rare EP that not too many people own--this is the record for you!

The Boring Stuff

From American buyers, I accept personal checks, money orders/cashiers checks, PayPal, and BidPay. IF YOU MUST PAY BY CASH, I WILL ONLY ACCEPT ON ONE CONDITION: THAT YOU SEND IT BY REGISTERED MAIL. Payment by International users will vary with the country--no foreign checks accepted. Payment must be received within 10 days of the auction end date. Failure to comply or answer seller’s e-mails within three days will result in negative feedback and notification of non-paying bidder to Safe Harbor. SELLER HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE BIDS. Winning bidder pays shipping/handling charges. If living in the United States, buyer has the choice of the method of shipping a record by USPS: 1st Class rate - $2.80; or priority rate - $4.80. The charge for shipping each additional single 45 rpm record is fifty cents. I no longer ship via media rate, since 1st Class is just a few cents more and is faster and safer than shipping media. Insurance is optional. Please check with me, the seller, about the cost of insurance after auction is over. I pack very carefully, but I do not guarantee loss or damage if package is uninsured. If you live outside the U.S.A., please wait for my quote of postage charges to your country before sending payment.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. IN CASE OF RETURNING A RECORD OR RECORDS BECAUSE OF DISSATISFACTION ON THE PART OF THE BUYER FOR ANY REASON, ONLY THE COST OF THE RECORD(S) WILL BE REIMBURSED--NO SHIPPING FEES WILL BE RETURNED.

BUYER AGREES TO ABIDE BY ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AUCTION.
