Description

King 45-4980: Joe Tex's Pneumonia b/w Get Way Back. Very rare, very sought-after R&B Dancer from 1956.

The vinyl has some light surface marks and scratches that cannot be felt with a fingernail and though they cause light occasional pops early in the recording, do not affect tracking. Center hole retains perfect size and shape. The vinyl still retains gloss. See the photo for comparison of its gloss with a NMt and a G record. The label has some light ring wear but has no scratches, tears, stickers, or markings. Both sides play without skips. The record plays with no wobble or distortion, and there is no warp. There is some light surface noise, mostly discernable at the lead in and during quieter passages; but minimally present during play. Using the Record Collector's Guild grading scale, it meets criteria as VG. Please use the photos to make your own judgment.
