Description

Rare Lp by French pianist Henri Renaud on Ducretet-Thompson # 300 V 027. H.Renaud played in france and in NY with Max Roach, Milt Jackson, Al Cohn, Oscar Petitford and in Paris with Zoot Sims, Lucky Thompson, Lee Konitz, Clifford Brown, Gigi Grice and more.

This Lp was recorded in Paris with French and Us musicians Allan Eager, Jan Warland, Kenny Clarke and Bill Byers.

 Cover is clean with notable cover wear but no major defect, no writing, no tear.

Records is the same : some light surface marks and tiny but almost permanent surface noise, but earing keeps very confortable all along. 50 years old this is! 

Coming to the music, it's soft, delicate and simply wonderful. This guy, who almost stopped playing the piano at the beginning of the sixties to become a director of Cbs France, really had a magic touch.
